Mr. Schneider is a Vice President of Kelson Energy, responsible for environmental affairs and regulatory compliance. He manages and implements corporate compliance strategies, plans, and goals to support business objectives for Kelson’s electrical power businesses. Mr. Schneider manages compliance programs responsive to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy (DOE), the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and Environmental, Health, and Safety for Kelson’s operating facilities. Mr. Schneider also manages due diligence efforts related to compliance and environmental issues for potential acquisition of assets. Mr. Schneider has extensive previous experience in permitting for all phases of electric generating facilities throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to joining Kelson in 2004, Mr. Schneider was employed by TransAlta Energy, USA providing environmental support in development, acquisition, and asset management of TransAlta’s electric generation projects. Previously, Mr. Schneider held positions at Columbia Electric and CH2M HILL. Mr. Schneider received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University.
