Neal Cody

Mr. Cody is the Chief Executive Officer of Kelson Energy, the firm he co-founded with Mr. Gardner in 2002. Kelson is an independent management company which provides management and transactional expertise to financial investors in the electric power industry.   Notable among Kelson’s accomplishments has been the acquisition, management and targeted divestiture of a 4,800 MW portfolio consisting of eight power plants in the United States and Canada on behalf of Harbinger Capital Partners and the management and divestiture of a 1,362 MW, three plant portfolio on behalf of Wayzata Investments Partners.  Mr. Cody currently serves on the Board of Managers of Longview Power, the owner of a modern 700 MW supercritical coal plant in West Virginia and previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of both Kelson Holdings and Kelson Canada.  Prior to founding Kelson, Mr. Cody held senior management positions with Orion Power and Columbia Electric. Mr. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Business degree in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
