Neal Cody
Mr. Cody is the President of Kelson Energy, the firm he co-founded in 2002. Kelson is an independent management company which provides management and transactional expertise to financial investors in the electric power industry. Notable among Kelson’s accomplishments has been the acquisition, management and divestiture of a 4,800 MW, eight plant portfolio on behalf of Harbinger Capital Partners, the management and divestiture of a 1,350 MW, three plant portfolio on behalf of Wayzata Investments Partners and the management and divestiture of a 4,300 MW, five plant portfolio on behalf of an affiliate of Beal Bank. Mr. Cody currently serves on the Board of Managers of Longview Power, the owner of a modern 700 MW supercritical coal plant in West Virginia and previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of both Kelson Holdings and Kelson Canada. Prior to founding Kelson, Mr. Cody held senior management positions with Orion Power and Columbia Electric. Mr. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
