
Alberto Ciganda
Mr. Ciganda is the for Kelson Energy. He is responsible for analyzing the strategic environment that each of Kelson’s businesses face, developing plans that maximize opportunities and minimize threats. Mr. Ciganda also manages the firm’s financial analysis and valuation efforts and advises on the structuring of acquisitions and financing. Mr. Ciganda has led the preparation of economic and regulatory analysis, derivatives modeling, and electricity market modeling in support of project acquisitions and redevelopment. Mr. Ciganda provided testimony to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in a Horizontal Market Power Case involving Dogwood Energy where FERC fully accepted Dogwood’s arguments and maintained Dogwood’s Market Authority. Prior to joining Kelson in 2008, Mr. Ciganda held a senior position at Bates White. Mr. Ciganda received a Licentiate in Economics degree from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
