Sanjay Wankhade

Mr. Wankhade is Managing Director, Energy Management for Kelson Energy. He is responsible for Energy Management and settlements. He oversees Kelson’s energy management contractors and directs the overall strategy regarding the revenue side of Kelson’s businesses including fuel supply, fuel transportation and hedging activities. Since 2015 Mr. Wankhade successfully built a book of hedged capacity and energy transactions in the illiquid Southwest Power Pool market which have more than doubled Dogwood Energy’s gross margin and stabilized cash flows against the uncertainty of day ahead markets. Mr. Wankhade also coordinates settlements and cash management activities for the six different owners of Dogwood Facility. Prior to joining Kelson in 2005 he worked for InterGen North America. Mr. Wankhade holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics from V.J.T.I, Mumbai, India and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Rice University, Houston, Texas.
